You will always appreciate the wonderful walk that leads you to the top of the city of Florence. You can choose several ways to get there, but the best one is through the little gardens behind the Tower of San Niccolò.

Something in the way is the title of this note, and here you are what I found going up to the top of Florence:

Almost to the top, just next to the Giardino delle Rose (Rose Garden) – main entrance is along the stairs coming up from San Niccolò:

When finding the countryside you lost

It was a long time I really wanted to spent hours breathing fresh air far from the city, totally sourrounded by nature, fields, trees, no noise. Hence I finally got to go for a walk up a little mountain!

The first meeting I had was totally amazing 😍 with there little and hardworking mules!!

It was like an old frame from the past, staring at those little mules giunge up the mountain and discovering they are still used as a transfer way it’s unbelievable! So cute 😊

Weekend to Ischia Island

I thought I already posted some of The pictures I’m going to show here in my old article dedicated to Ischia. But I was wrong 🙂

And I think I will convince you to spend a fabulous weekend in this isle, enjoying its wonderful beaches and cliffs and glimpses!

Italian Landascapes that sometimes sound like Japanese paintings

weird tutele for this post, I know… But it’s exatcly what I thought when I look at some mountains while I was on the way back to Florence, after spending a wonderful Sunday on Cala Violino beach. Look at those photos, they show Alpi Apuane with a weird fog and sense of Mystics Don’t they remind you about those static Japanese paintings? Ukyio-e art? See for example this one Maybe it’s not about the landscape… It’s about the different levels they show: they seem to be painted by following several horizontal lines That’s why I thought to create a frame like this one 🙂 really love it! Remember, If you want to see this mystic panorama, go visit Alpi Apuane, the unique Alps that are part of Appennini!

Florence: towards the Dome

It was my ordinary walk. I just want to share some nice shots I took while walking towards the Dome, not from the side that everybody knows – from Santa Maria Novella station – but from the back, through Via dell’Oriuolo. Here you are my walk, enjoy it by the pictures and in reality too, if you have this chance!
