Vinci, Leonardo and Italian excellence

Let’s go to Vinci for a trip, it’s winter, it’s cold, but when the sun shines the need to go somewhere green becomes a must: Vinci is the winner city  of this daytrip, a small town located on the Montalbano hills – and we’re obviously talking about the birthplace of Leonardo ‘da Vinci’. Vinci landscapes and Leonardo will be the protagonists of the following pics:

imagehere you can visit a sort of dislocated museum, in the sense that there are several units which are part of the ‘Museum of Leonardo’ in the city of Vinci.

The first visit to do is the Castle of the Guidi Counts in the city center: here you can have a taste of the exhibitions:

Then the series of work of arts dedicated to the painting and the study of perspective:

Here is the Leonardo’s painting in which he was able to introduce the power of linear perspective to go towards naturalism in painting. You can see the deepth of the landscape and natural pose of the characters by looking at it moving to the right, from Mary’s point of view: if you do so, you can enjoy the very point of view and right perspective:

#RecordStoreDay 2015: what a wonderful edge of Florence

Today was the perfect day to spend time in one of the most secretly popular place of music here in Florence: Mastelloni. Secretly popular, yes, because here in Florence things work differently.

A lot of things happen, music events, fashion events, readings, but no one knows. Hence, this place was the first and the only florentine place where to go and discover some good music, thanks to Mr Mastelloni, this man who was maybe the first dj of Florence in ’68th and now still is the boss.

So, if you’re lucky enough you can talk with him about any little part of his life, how he decided to start his business, how much he’s passionate about music..and here you are some pictures to discover the location.

and here the opposite edge of Florence, a new place with an exclusive location just in front of the Baptistery. It’s like a sort of Hard Rock Cafe in a stylish version and its named Move On:

Florence: towards the Dome

It was my ordinary walk. I just want to share some nice shots I took while walking towards the Dome, not from the side that everybody knows – from Santa Maria Novella station – but from the back, through Via dell’Oriuolo. Here you are my walk, enjoy it by the pictures and in reality too, if you have this chance!

2015/01/img_0104.jpg Just after two minutes, here you are what appears in front of you:
